Lily Allen, who was expecting with builder boyfriend Sam Cooper, has suffered a miscarriage after nearly six months of pregnancy!

According to reports, Lily Allen was rushed to hospital after complaining of stomach pains on Thursday morning. The 25-year-old singer eventually lost her baby after efforts to save the unborn child tragically failed.

A rep for Lily Allen confirmed the news today, “It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made.”

This is the second miscarriage in two years for the heartbroken singer. She previously suffered a miscarriage back in January of 2008 during a relationship with Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.
