Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have officially called it quits after more that a year of dating.

Miley Cyrus, the 17-year-old actress and pop singer, has split from Liam Hemsworth, the 20-year-old Aussie actor, a rep for Liam has confirmed the breakup to Us Weekly.

The actors met on the set of The Last Song in June of 2009. "He’s my first serious boyfriend," Mily told Parade magazine of Liam back in March.

It was only in June that Mily took her website to deny the split rumors, saying, "Just wanna clear up a rumor. Liam [Hemsworth] and I did not break. EVER! We are so happy and a lot of that has to do with the amazing relationship he has with my family."
