Deborah Lin, a former model of Asian origin, has married to her fiance James Gandolfini, the Sopranos's actor. Deborah Lin-James Gandolfini wedding was held August 30 at the bride's hometown Honolulu, Hawaii.

It was reported the couple who got engaged in January exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by white lilies and rhododendrons adorning every pew held at Central Union Church of Honolulu. Gandolfini's 8-year-old son Michael from his first marriage with Marcy Wudarsk served as the best man.

Attention! AdSense Ads Below Blog Post Title Violates TOS, Unless You Put Advertisement or Sponsored Links Indicator

Most bloggers, including myself, are quite enjoying the revenue originating from the Adsense ads put just below the title of every blog post, because that area is most visible to a visitor thus attracts the clicks.

Maybe now one has to pay attention to this matter, the webmasters at Quickonlinetips.com revealed that they had received an email from Google Adsense support team and were informed to do a little bit modification.

Back in this March, Meridith Major of AdSense Publisher Support clarified on Inside Adsense, saying "ads shouldn't be placed under titles such as “Dallas Business Opportunities” or “Today's Hot Deals”. Placing ads directly below titles such as these implies to your users that the links in the ads are publisher-created content." Apparently, these guidelines are not clear enough.

Google's email to Quickonlinetips.com made a further clarification. It said the title can still mislead visitors to click thus clearly required them to label the Google ads with text other than 'sponsored links’ or ‘advertisements’.

Needless to say, putting such word(s) may lead to less clicks. But to fully comply with Google Adsense's Terms of Services, Quikonlinetips add an word of advertisements right above their ads.

In the reality, a lot of blogs with huge traffics, such as some of my favorite sites--Neatorama, Popcrunch, all apply a Google ads unit right below their blog posts without indicating it is an advertisement. I'm just curious why Google Adsense Team not to make a statement on their official blog, rather email to the individual webmaster?

Ashley Ellerin, the former girlfriend of actor Ashton Kutcher (picture above), was murdered in February 2001. The then 22-year-old fashion student-model was found dead in her Hollywood Hills home one day after Ashton Kutcher  attended a post-Grammy Awards party. Ever since, the murderer is still at large. Now the justice may finally soon be brought to Ashley Ellerin and her family. Thanks to the police's DNA evidence, Michael Gargiulo, 32, an air-con repairman in Santa Monica, has been linked to the murdering. R.I.P, Ellerin!

Kiron, a two-headed boy, was born on August 25 in the Muslims-dominated South Asia's Bangladesh. The newly-born kid, weighing 5.5 kilograms, was given the birth via the Caesarean-section by his 22-year-old mother in the small town Keshobpur, about 140 kilometers away from the country's capital Dhakah.

According to gynaecologist Mohamad Abdul Bari, Kiron developed from one embryo but due to a developmental anomaly he got two heads. Other than that, the little totter has one stomach, one genital organ, four limbs and can eat normally with his two mouths.

Microsoft IEBlog announced its release of the Beta 2 of Internet Explorer 8, or IE8. It must be a lot of improvements made, however for me, in the regard of its functions/user interface, no matter how much perfect when compared to its predecessors, as long as the speed of rendering a webpage is slower than Mozilla's Firefox, we will never set it as a default navigator on my computers. Microsoft's IE is only used as an alternate when some websites can't be correctly loaded in Firefox. Andre Young Jr. Dead: Dr. Dre's Son Andre Young Jr Died

Andre Young Jr., (pictured left) son of rapper Dr. Dre [wikipedia], has passed away, according to the reports. He was only 20 years old. Andre Young Jr. was found dead on August 23 when his mother went to call him up at their Woodland Hills home in California Saturday morning.

"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time." said the statement of Dr. Dre's rep.

Andre Young Jr's body was found in his bed at around 10:30 am. The death cause was remained unknown as the results of a toxicology test from the biopsy are pending, but a foul play was ruled out.

Dr. Dre has four other children, son Marcel with singer Michel'le, son Truth and daughter Truly with Nicole Threatt (NBA player Sedale Threatt's ex-wife), and rapper Hood Surgeon with Cassandra Joy Greene. It's not known the name of Andre Young Jr's mother.

Update (January 3, 2009): After 4 months Andre Young Jr's death cause was finally revealed. He died from overdose morphine and heroin, the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner confirmed.

 "This case has been closed, it's been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication," coroner spokesman Larry Dietz told People.

Charles Simonyi, the man once behind constructing Microsoft Office's Word and Excel software, is to marry his girlfriend Lisa Persdotter on November 22 in Sweden, reported Puget Sound Business Journal.

Charles Simonyi, 59, and Lisa Persdotter, 24, reportedly got engaged in St. Tropez, France on 08/08/08, the same day as 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony.

Songs for U2's new album in four years, supposedly to be named No Line On The Horizon, were leaked to the online video portal Youtube.com, Dailymail reported. How did this happened? It was because of the carelessness of Bono who played the songs too loudly while vacationing with daughter Memphis Eve and wife Ali Hewson in the Southern France. Excerpts below from the article:

Avril Lavigne's concert in Kuala Lumpur on August 29, 2008 is deemed "too sexy" for some Malaysians. Kamarulzaman Mohamed, of the powerful Young Wing of Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, had asked the Malaysian government to cancel the planned concert to be staged at Stadium Merdeka, saying Avril Lavigne concert would promote the wrong values ahead of Malaysia's August 31 independence day.

“Avril's music is very popular here. PAS Youth should never deprive Malaysians of the chance to watch the concert.”

"In the 200 m butterfly, water flooded into Michael Phelps’ goggles. Phelps referred to this as a “wardrobe malfunction”. Phelps said that he just did not strap us goggles on properly. "The way I come into a target is I start above the target and come down from 12 o'clock and get into the bullseye.".

"And as I get down into the bullseye is when I start to get on the trigger (with my finger) and as I was starting to get on the trigger, the gun just went off."

"I guess I just set it off. I got on the trigger a little too hard. I didn't feel my trigger shaking but I guess it was. It just hit the trigger, the gun went off and I was like 'uh, that's not going to be good - I hope it hit the black'.

It hit the black, but a little high, he said.

"If the shot had made it all the way down to the bullseye, it'd have been pretty decent."

Talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres and partner Portia de Rossi exchanged wedding vows and walked down the aisle in the couple's Los Angeles.

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight [August 16] in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," Ellen's rep told the mag.

People said Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's wedding was held in an intimate ceremony only the 19 family members and friends, including DeGeneres's mom Betty DeGeneres and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers, attended.

Ellen DeGeneres 50, and Portia de Rossie, 35, have been dating since December 2004. But not until California's Supreme Court ruled the same-sex/gay marriage is legal in the state on May 14, DeGeneres announced the following day on her talk show she planed to marry with de Rossi, an Australian-born celebrity working in Hollywood.

With one shot left and 3.3 points advantage over other competitors, Matthew Emmons needed only a mediocre shot of 7.6 to win a gold medal in the same event. But the ghosts hauled Emmons again, this time he fired the last shot and scored a mere 4.4, spoiling his bid for a medal at the Games. As a result, China's Qiu Jian won the gold, Jury Sukhorukov of Ukraine the silver and Rajmond Debevec took the bronze.

Dara Torres gave herself a very precious gift on her 41 years old birthday (August 15, 1967). On the just concluded semifinals of 2008 Beijing Olympics' women's 50-meter freestyle swimming event, Dara Torres qualified as the fastest swimmer with 24.27 seconds for August 17's final, beating Cate Campbell of Australia (24.42) and Britta Steffen of Germany (24.43). We sincerely wish Torres win a gold medal on tomorrow's competition.

Phelps 7th Gold: Michael Phelps Wins 100m Butterfly in Beijing Olympics

Michael Phelps has bagged his 7th gold medal at the Beijing Games August 16, 2008, equaling Mark Spitz's [wiki] record of seven gold medals at a single Olympics set in Germany's Munich 1972. Phelps' men's 100m butterfly result is 50.58 seconds. Milorad Cavic of Serbia took the silver with a time of 50.59. Though this time Michael Phelps did not break the world record, still he created a new Olympic record in the National Aquatics Center in Beijing. Fabulous! Phelps now is only one gold medal away from his dream to win eight in a single Olympics.

Pam Shriver George Lazenby Divorce

The marriage of Pam Shriver, retired US tennis player and the fourth cousin of Maria Shriver who is the First Lady of California, and former James Bond actor George Lazenby [wikipedia], has hit the rocks. Pam Shriver, 46, filed papers for divorcing her husband of six years George Lazenby, 69, PerezHilton.com reported.

The couple filed for divorce last week. And, on Thursday afternoon, she filed for a restraining order against Lazenby.

The actor is now required to stay at least 100 yards away from her at all times. That includes from her work and from her vehicle.

She goes on to claim that Lazenby even threatened to kill her if she attempted to gain full custody of their three children. She also believes that his "severe anger management issues, alcoholism and poor parenting skills" will place their 4 year-old and 2 year-old twins at risk.

Those are some strong accusations.

And we hope this isn't true, but according to Shriver, her soon to be ex-husband has in the past even offered their kids beer from beer bottles and ice from scotch glasses. He's supposedly also objected to certain things like the kids having to wear sunblock, brush their teeth, sitting in their car seats, or even going to the doctor.

Craziness. And it gets even worse.

Shriver is also claiming that shes the victim of domestic violence and has been bruised many times by Lazenby. And that at times he even got violent with the kids, once even throwing their two year old son "in his bed with extreme force."

She goes on to say, that as recently as last week, he slapped his other two year old with the TV remote control because the child was crying while Lazenby was trying to watch golf in "peace and quiet."

And even MORE, she's requesting to keep possession of their three kids' passports, since she's scared that her Australian-born hubby might smuggle her kids out.

All I am trying to say is that I was raised with a wonderful family surrounding me. Of course we have our ups and downs, but all in all my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given. Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14 year old child to alter her body. I am not judging people that do, but I am just saying that its not something that my family finds necessary to do, especially when you’re not even fully developed yet! It is hard enough being 14 years old and you have enough insecurities to begin with, then add being in the public eye… I just find it really disconcerting that people have to focus on the negative and that some people are sooooo bored with their own lives that they need to manifest lies to hurt another person.

Olympic Stabbing: American Tourists Attacked At Drum Tower in Beijing

A Chinese man stabbed two American tourists and a Chinese tour guide on the second level of the Drum Tower on August 9, killing an American man and injuring the other two women. The knife-wielding attacker then killed himself by jumping from the Drum Tower after the stabbing.

The two American tourists are the family members of a coach for the United States Olympic Men's Indoor Volleyball Team. Both injured women are in stable condition at a hospital.

The attacker was identified as Tang Yongming from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province according to an ID card found on his body. The motive for the attack is still unknown. Source: Chinadaily

Just days after Morgan Freeman was in a serious car accident, Freeman’s business partner says the actor, Morgan Freeman, and his wife of 24 years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, are getting a divorce.

Bill Luckett, a Mississippi-based attorney told Access Hollywood that Morgan Freeman and his wife are “are involved in a divorce action.”

Luckett adds that “for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”

Beijing Olympics: USA Women Soccer Team 2:0 Norway Women Soccer Team on August 6

Though two days' away from the official 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening, women football teams have kicked off the Games today. The United States Women soccer team which was the gold medalist in Athens 2004, shockingly lost to their Norwegian counterpart in a score of 2:0. Amanda Beard, America's 2004 Athens Olympics gold medalist for the 200-meter breast stroke swimming, is going to strip topless before the world. Amanda Beard will appear naked in People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA) ad to pretest the wearing of fashion furs, Reuters and Access Hollywood reported.

The pictures that features Amanda Beard posed naked in front of the Water Cube, 2008 Beijing Olympics's major aquatic sports venue, will debut on August 6 in Beijing. It is said Beard will attend the launch event herself.

"Seeing animals slaughtered to be worn as fashion is awful to me, so I'm definitely against wearing fur ... I'd much rather go naked than ever put a dead animal on my body," the 26-year-old female swimmer who was labeled as one of the world's most sexist athletes told PETA.

Her mother, actress/singer Nancy Lee Priddy suffered both breast and cervical cancer. Applegate has been advocating for breast cancer research. She was scheduled to appear on Stand Up to Cancer, a one-hour long fund-raising event to be aired on ABC, CBS and NBC on September 5.

Montauk Monster, the supposed monster that washed ashore at Montauk of Long Beach in New York this July, has caused a buzz in the blogosphere after its photo was first published on Gawker.com. If not the eagle-beak of this "alien" creature, nobody most probably had shown their great interests on the animal. Just because of that, many people wanna know what Montauk Monster indeed is. When scrutinizing the internet, we found there is currently no confirmatory conclusion drew on its identify. However, apparently, the analysis from William Wise, director of Stony Brook University's Living Marine Resources Institute, ruled out Montauk Monster is raccoon, shellless sea turtle, rodent or even a sheep:

A raccoon. ("The legs appear to be too long in proportion to the body.")
A sea turtle. ("Sea turtles do not have teeth.")
A rodent. ("Rodents have two huge, curved incisor teeth in front of their mouths.")
He said the general body shape looks like a dog or other canine ("Coyote?"). But that the "prominent eye ridge and the feet" don't match.
He said the feet and face look "somewhat ovine" - that would be like a sheep - but sheep don't have sharp teeth.
