Her body, which had "blunt impact injuries," was found inside of her 18th floor apartment at 965 Fifth Avenue (between 77th and 78th Streets) last night around 11pm.
Police and the medical examiner say an autopsy found that she died from fatal blows to the head and neck.
There was no sign of a forced entry, and the police have no suspects.

Angela Nazario, a former Raiderette cheerleader, claimed NFL star Arizona Cardinals' wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is the father of her unborn child, reported TMZ.
According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, Angela Nazario claims she and Fitzgerald had a sexual relationship which resulted in Nazario's pregnancy. She says she is due in January. While Fitzgerald cops to hooking up with Nazario, he is asking that a DNA paternity test be taken after the child is born.
Nazario is seeking child support from Fitzgerald, which he says he'll provide, if he's determined to be the father. A source close to Nazario says he has asked her to "hide" out in a small Arizona town, and asked her to have an abortion. Fitzgerald also allegedly tried to bribe her with offers of houses and cars, and when she declined, he told her "I don't need this all over the news like Matt Leinart."

Genarlow Wilson, 21, ex high school football star and honors student, who has been imprisoned for more than two years for having consensual oral sex with when he was 17 with a 15-year-old girl in 2003, is ordered free on October 26.
Georgia Supreme Court ruled 4-3 that Genarlow Wilson's 10-year sentence for Oral Sex With fellow teen was cruel and unusual punishment.
Wilson, 21, was convicted of aggravated child molestation following a 2003 New Year's Eve party at a Douglas County hotel room where he was videotaped having oral sex with a 15-year-old girl. He was 17 at the time.
Wilson was acquitted of raping another 17-year-old girl at the party.

The likeness of 'Suspect' kidnapper who abducted missing British girl Madeleine McCann was released by parents Gerry and Kate on Oct. 25.
It was drew by a FBI-trained British forensic artist, based on a description given by witness Jane Turner (left), a friend of the McCanns.

Daniel Dae Kim, the Korean American actor who is best known for playing Jin-Soo Kwon on the television series Lost, was arrested early Thursday on suspicion of drunken driving.
Wearing a polo shirt and khaki shorts, the actor was arrested around 3:00 AM, then posted bail and was released two hours later.
Kim is the fourth "Lost" star to run in to legal problems.
According to TMZ,Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were arrested for DUI in December 2005, when police spotted their vehicles weaving along a local road. Both pleaded guilty, and were lost from the show soon after. In September of 2006, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was arrested and accused of disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. Those charges were later dropped -- and then he was dropped from the show as his character was killed off by a crazy smoke monster.

Parrot "Peanut" is a hero after saving a 33-year-old man and his 9-year-old son from a blaze by mimicking the sound of a fire alarm.
The bird's owner Shannon Conwell (below, right) said he and his son (below, left) fell asleep on the couch while watching a movie one day. They awoke about 3 a.m. to find their home on fire after hearing the family's Amazon parrot, Peanut, imitating a fire alarm.
The smoke alarm had activated, but it was the bird's call that caught Conwell's attention. Then he grabbed his son and his bird, rushed out the house.
Though the fire destroyed the home's dining room, kitchen and bedroom, they are safe.

Bumbo “Baby Sitter” Seats, made by Bumbo International of South Africa, is a popular baby seat but potentially dangerous and being recalled.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) says, If the seat is placed on a table, countertop, chair, or other elevated surface, young children can arch their backs, flip out of the Bumbo seat, and fall onto the floor, posing a risk of serious head injuries.
The agency says it's had 28 reports of young children falling out of the seats, and sustaining injuries that included three skull fractures suffered when kids fell out of Bumbo seats that had been placed on tables.
Consumers can contact Bumbo to obtain warning label stickers and instructions, free of charge. The new warning label will state: "WARNING -- Prevent Falls; Never use on any elevated surface."

Christina Butler, 33, a ninth-grade teacher at Middleton High School, was arrested after she admitted having a sexual relationship with her 16-year-old student.
Tuesday night officers were conducting surveillance at a local apartment complex when they saw a group of teenagers driving erratically in a Jeep Grand Cherokee belong to Butter on 24th Street.
The 16-year-old driver, who did not have a license, told police that his friend Butler let him use the vehicle. Another boy told an officer that the driver was involved in a relationship with the teacher.
Butler was called to the scene and questioned by officers who said she eventually admitted having sex with the student, whom she taught in one of her classes.
Charged with lewd or lascivious battery, Butler is now out of jail after posting $7,500 bail.

TV host and actor Gary Collins, 69, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving following a collision in LA's San Fernando Valley on Oct. 24. Collins' blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit.
According to TMZ, Collins was driving his black Ford Explorer northbound on Kester Ave. in Sherman Oaks, Calif. when he slammed into a blue Toyota driven by an 80-year-old man that was making a left southbound onto Kester Ave. The collision caused Collins' Explorer to lose control then subsequently crashed into two parked cars.
Collins was not hurt in the crash, the other driver was taken to a hospital for examination of unspecified injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
Collins was booked into the Van Nuys Jail, and later was released on $40,000 bail.

Robert Goulet, the 73-year-old singer and actor who diagnosed with a form of pulmonary fibrosis, is currently breathing through a respirator as he awaits a lung transplant in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Though a donor has not yet been found, it was said lung transplants have a success rate of 88%, so all is expected to go very well.

The six-inch white plastic stick called "e-cig" is a new type of cigarette without smoke which can be entirely legal indoors.
This Chinese-made device uses a battery-powered atomiser to create realistic puffs of "smoke," while the tip glows red with each suck.
It can afford smoker a strong kick of nicotine from "nico-filter" cartridge, even has no harmful side-effects because there is no smoke or tar.
A starter pack includes the cigarette, one filter and a recharger for the battery costs £50. The filter will provide enough nicotine for about 350 puffs, equivalent to about 30 cigarettes. And replacement packs of six filters cost £10 each.
Robert Chambers, 41, nicknamed the Preppy Killer, who at age 19 killed 18-year-old Jennifer Levin in New York's Central Park in 1986, was arrested again on charges related to selling cocaine at the night of October 22.
In the latest case, he was charged with several counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
Undercover cops had been investigating the building for several months after noticing heavy drug traffic. Over that course of time agents purchased more than a half pound of cocaine from the convicted killer.
Chambers was released from jail in 2003 after serving 15 years following a guilty plea to first degree manslaughter. If convicted on the felony drug charges he could find himself behind bars for more than 20 years.

Aya Tsukioka, 29, a Japanese fashion designer, has come up with a new skirt as a disguise to make the wearer look like a Coca Cola vending machine for helping the women who fear of crime.
Tsukioka says the vending machine shirt will help women to hide behind it to outfox a potential attacker if she walks alone.
The experimental clothes designer says this idea was inspired by a trick used by Japanese ninja assassins, who cloaked themselves in black blankets so they couldn't be seen at night.

On September 7th, a medium who claimed that he had been possessed by the Monkey God sat in a covered wok of boiling water and withstood the steam-filled environment for 45 minutes.
By the time the extra-tall lid of the wok was removed, the five frozen whole chickens which had been placed in the wok had already been thoroughly cooked. However, not only was the medium unhurt, he even rebuked those staff members who had opened the lid. The 300 believers who witnessed the sight were amazed.
Here is how the stunt was performed
The event (which took place in Ipoh) was officiated by Grandmaster Qingshui from Bahau. He was accompanied by two disciples – Xia Fuan and Xia Fulai. It was 52-year-old Xia Fuan who had sat inside the covered wok of boiling water, braving the scalding steam for 45 minutes.
To prepare for the event, staff members first poured plain water into a large wok that was three feet in diameter. They then put five frozen whole chickens into the water. Next, they placed a round wooden board (which is an inch thick) on top of the wok, and then stacked tied-up bundles of joss paper onto the board to make a sort of cushion for the medium to sit on.
At 9 pm on the night of the event, Grandmaster Qingshui faced the four cardinal points of the compass and paid obeisance with offerings of incense and joss paper. At the same time, he also recited mantras, beat on a drum and sounded a gong. He then sprinkled tea leaves, salt and rice into the wok.
30 minutes later, the medium who was said to have been possessed by the Monkey God began acting like a monkey, walking, scratching himself and crying out loudly like one. Holding a metal rod in his hand, he walked out of the place of worship and surveyed his surroundings for about 15 minutes before reentering and beginning the performance.
After the medium sat down on the cushion of joss paper bundles, staff members covered the wok with a lid and then began burning wood under the wok to bring the water inside to a boil and cook the chickens.
When staff members removed the lid of the wok 45 minutes later, the medium strode out of the wok amidst clouds of steam without any sign of injury on his body. He even expressed his dissatisfaction in Hokkien, saying that his master had opened the lid too early.

Kyle Walker, a 7-year-old second-grader was suspended one day for his drawing depicting a 'water pistol' by Dennis Township Primary School of Atlantic City in New Jersey.
He was suspended Thursday [Oct. 18] after drawing a stick figure shooting another stick figure, [Kyle's mother] Shirley McDevitt said.
One smiling figure had the name "me" written above it. The other smiling figure had a schoolmate's name on it.
Kyle Walker told his mother it was a water gun and that he and the boy were friends.

McDevitt said she was told he was suspended because of the school's zero-tolerance policy for guns. The drawing was discovered, she said, after the schoolmate brought the drawing home and his parents expressed their concerns to the school, she said.

Kid Rock (see mug shot left), Pamila Anderson's ex, and five members of his entourage, have been arrested after a sold-out show in Atlanta in connection with a fight at a waffle house in DeKalb County at the night of October 21.
A male customer identified as Harlen Akins recognized a woman in Kid Rock's entourage, and police say that customer and the woman had words. That escalated into an argument, then a physical fight in the parking lot of the Waffle House, located on Buford Highway. Police were summoned, and Kid Rock's tour bus was pulled over a short time later.
According to FOX, Kid Rock posted $1,000 bail and was released Sunday evening from DeKalb County jail, signing autographs on his way out. Link

According to 10 different polls published today Oct. 21, Cristina Fernandez would receive more than 45 per cent of the vote or exceed 40 per cent with a lead of more than 10 percentage points over the second-place finisher, a wide enough margin to win in a first round of voting.

Max McGee, the hero of the first Super Bowl died Saturday October 20 in Deephaven of Minnesota after falling from the roof of his home. He was 75 years old.
Max McGee, a former Green Bay Packers wide receiver, was most well-known for the first touchdown pass (video below) he scored in Super Bowl history in Green Bay's 35-10 victory over Kansas City in January 1967.
According to the numerous news outlets, McGee was blowing leaves off the roof when the tragedy happened. Police were called to the spot around 5:20 p.m., but ffforts to resuscitate McGee was unsuccessful. It's so sad for the NFL to lose a great man.

Deborah Kerr, the British star of "The King and I" and "From Here to Eternity," has died. She was 86.
Kerr, who suffered from Parkinson's disease, died Tuesday in Suffolk in eastern England, her agent, Anne Hutton, said Thursday.
Deborah Kerr, is most famous for one of cinema's most famous kisses with Burt Lancaster in war time drama "From Here to Eternity".
Born Deborah Jane Kerr-Trimmer in Scotland in 1921, Kerr was nominated for the Best Actress Oscar six times and received an honorary Oscar in 1994.

Pascal Cotte, a French engineer and inventor, claimed to have found Mona Lisa's eyebrows, using an extremely sophisticated scanner built by himself.
Pascal Cotte announced at a press conference Wednesday that he has found definitive proof that when Leonardo da Vinci painted the original portrait he included "Mona Lisa's" lashes and brows.
Cotte examined the world's most famous painting using a high-definition camera of his own design.
The device scanned a 240-million pixel image using 13 light spectrums, including ultra-violet and infrared.
The resulting ultra-high resolution photograph of 150,000 dots per inch yielded a reproduction of the "Mona Lisa's" face magnified 24 times. And there Cotte found the evidence he sought -- a single brushstroke of a single hair above the left brow.

In what may be the first of many similarly tawdry lawsuits, a New York City woman claims that wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused her when she was a 16-year-old aspiring model. Epstein "repeatedly lured" the woman, Maximilia Cordero, to his Manhattan mansion with promises that "he and his wealthy friends would help...with her modeling career," according to a lawsuit filed yesterday in New York State Supreme Court. The complaint...alleges that Cordero...visited Epstein's Upper East Side home several times in 2000 and engaged in "bizarre and unnatural sex acts" at Epstein's request. Cordero, who was known professionally as Ava, contends that, as a minor, she was unable to lawfully consent to these sexual activities. Cordero claims that Epstein, 54, told her, "I love how young you are. You have a tight butt like a baby," and repeatedly asked her to return with her teenage friends, since "I love girls your age." Epstein, who was arrested last year in Florida on state charges, is reportedly set to plead guilty to a felony count of soliciting sex from underage girls at his Palm Beach estate. According to Cordero, now 23, during her first visit to Epstein's Manhattan home, the money manager forced her to perform oral sex, and subsequently told her on several occasions, "I would love for you to come with me to Thailand to pick up other girls your age." Cordero's lawsuit, which does not specify monetary damages, contends that Epstein's alleged criminal sexual behavior resulted in significant "pain and suffering" and physical and emotional injuries....Epstein's lawyer, Gerald Lefcourt, had dismissed the suit, "It took seven years to bring the suit, the woman acknowledged that she is insane, but she knew how to read a newspaper, and she knew the word 'rich'". When responding to a question about how seriously he believed Iran was pursuing a nuclear bomb following Russian President Vladimir Putin's assertion that he had seen no evidence Teheran was constructing nuclear weapons, Bush warned of "World War III" on Wednesday should Iran gain the know-how to build such a nuclear bomb.

The Nine Emperor Gods Festival celebrated in Thailand and Malaysia is a Chinese festival to celebrate the return from heaven to earth of the Nine Emperor spirits, who are worshipped as one deity known as Ma Zu, literally means Queen of Heaven who represent health, wealth and prosperity.
The festival known as Vegetarian Festival in Thailand, always falls on the first days of the ninth Chinese lunar month, and for nine days participants observe the following commitments:
One of the most exciting aspects of the festival is the various, (and sometimes gruesome, see picture above) ceremonies which are held to invoke the gods. Firewalking, body piercing and other acts of self mortification undertaken by participants acting as mediums of the gods, have become more spectacular and daring as each year goes by. Men and women puncture their cheeks with various items including knives, skewers and other household items. It is believed that the Chinese gods will protect such persons from harm, and little blood or scarring results from such mutilation acts.
The ninth day of the festival is its climax. A procession which draws scores of devotees send the deities back home (a waterway such as river or sea).
We are currently living in Malaysia, as tomorrow is the ninth day of the festival, we hope we can take some photos from the event.

Two extra feet with toes clearly visible have grown on the bottom of a 2-months old Chinese baby girl Maomao (pseudonym). Experts said the "feet" are actually from a parasitic fetus, one of the twins which is not fully formed during the embryonic development. Maomao is currently hospitalised in the Hunan's Children Hosiptal in Changsha and will be operated to remove this parasitic fetus soon. The abnormality was probably caused by radiation or some other sources of pollution during the first three months of the mother's pregnancy. Those acquaintances including friends and family member of suspected pedophile Christopher Paul Neil said the Canadian was fun to hang out. They totally didn't realize that underneath the seemingly harmless exterior, Christopher Pau Neil was a paedophile who travelled to Cambodia and Vietnam to abuse young boys.
One informant was Amy Bowler, a Canadian teacher who said she contacted the international police organisation after it released four photos of Mr Neil last week.
She knew him from the South Korean city of Yongin, where they both taught. In a telephone interview, Ms Bowler told the Associated Press that Mr Neil often went out with her circle of expatriates, that he loved to sing karaoke, and that none of her friends suspected anything sinister about him.
''He had a number of close friends. He came out regularly for drinks. He was certainly not a pariah,'' Ms Bowler said. ''He was outgoing, but he wasn't very smooth.''
Another acquaintance who recognised Mr Neil was Kia Pearson, a New Zealander who said they taught together at the Kwangju Foreign School in the South Korean city of Gwangju.
''We were kind of good buddies,'' Mr Pearson said in a telephone interview.
''We used to enjoy watching him sing. He was quite the entertainer. He was a lot of fun.''
Both Ms Bowler and Mr Pearson said they first came across Mr Neil on an internet forum for English teachers called Dave's ESL Cafe. Mr Neil used a pseudonym, Peter Jackson, when communicating online on the site, they said.

In Canada, his brother urged him to turn himself in. ''My mother is devastated and the family is in shock,'' said Matthew Neil from the family home in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Capt Hope Carr, a public affairs officer for Canada's military, filled in details of Mr Neil's background, saying he had worked as a chaplain and counsellor for youths aged 12 to 18 from 1998 to 2000 at a cadet training centre in Nova Scotia.

We are just happy to know that Jessica McClure has a good life with her husband Daniel Morales, 34.
Today [Oct 16] is the 20th anniversary since toddler Jessica McClure was rescued from a backyard well in Midland.
She's now a 21-year-old wife and mother.
Chip McClure says his daughter is a wonderful mother, whose dream has always been to be a stay-at-home mom.
She has a 1-year-old son, Simon.
But Jessica's quiet existence in Midland could change in 3.5 years.
That's when all the monetary tributes sent to "Baby Jessica" while the world waited for her safe rescue -- mature into a payment of $1 million or more.
The trust fund is waiting for Jessica to turn 25.
Richardo Morales, Simon's uncle, says Jessica plans to put the money into a fund for her child.
The scene happened in 1987:
Chip and Cissy McClure were poor teenagers struggling to make ends meet during the depths of the oil bust. Cissy McClure left Jessica in her sister's yard while she went to answer the phone. Moments later, Jessica happened upon an 8-inch hole and innocently touched off a global event.
When rescuers brought her to the surface 2 1/2 days later, her head was bandaged, she was covered with dirt and bruises and her right palm was immobilized to her face. The image was ingrained in millions of people's memories and won a Pulitzer Prize for Odessa American photographer Scott Shaw.
But during the past two decades, not everyone involved rescuing Jessica mcClure is still well:

In 1995, paramedic and rescuer Robert O'Donnell, who wriggled into the passageway and slathered a frightened Jessica in petroleum jelly before sliding her out into the bright television lights, shot and killed himself at his parents' ranch outside Midland.
His brother, Rick, has said O'Donnell's life "fell apart" because of the stress of the rescue, the attention it created and the anticlimactic return to everyday life.
In 2004, William Andrew Glasscock Jr., a former Midland police officer who helped in the rescue, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison on charges of sexual exploitation of a child and improper storage of explosives. A year later, he was sentenced to 20 years on two state charges of sexual assault.

After 35 years' escaped life from prison, Linda Darby, a 64-year-old grandmother who lived under the assumed name Linda Joe McElroy, was captured on October 12.
Darbay was a fugitve sentenced to life in prison in Indiana for murdering her husband who was shot to death and his body set ablaze in 1970.
After her conviction in the case, Darby served two years behind bars before she escaped from Indiana Women's Prison in March 1972 by going over a barbed-wire fence. She then moved to Tennessee where she married, had two children and started a new life — complete with a new name.
People who knew her these years were all shocked to learn the grandmother was a convicted murderer and prison escapee for decades, because she lived like a real good citizen while on the lam.

More than 90,000 Americans get potentially deadly infections each year from a drug-resistant staph "superbug," it is the first overall estimate of invasive disease caused by the germ by the government reported Tuesday.
And almost everyone carries staph bacteria and it is the most common cause of skin infections in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"superbug", a strain of bacteria that is much tougher to treat than more common staph, or Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. MRSA, pronounced mersa, does not respond to penicillin and similar antibiotics and poses a serious risk to young children, the elderly and people with depressed immune systems.
MRSA occurs most often in hospitals and other medical care facilities.
This staph infection sometimes first appears on the skin as a red, swollen pimple or boil that may be painful or have pus. It can be spread by close skin-to skin contact or by touching surfaces like locker benches and towels contaminated with the germ.
Here are some basic tips from the CDC:
Keep your hands clean by washing thoroughly with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand cleaner. Keep cuts and scrapes clean and covered with a bandage until healed. Avoid contact with other people's wounds or bandages. Avoid sharing personal items such as towels or razors.

As an only child growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, Jacqui Saburido lived the good life. Beautiful and smart, she studied engineering with hopes of taking over her father's manufacturing business someday. In August 1999, she took a break from college and moved to Texas to study English.
After attending a party one night, Jacqui accepted a ride home from a young woman who lived near her dormitory. What she didn't know is that a young man named Reggie Stephey was driving under the influence of alcohol. On a four-lane road outside of Austin, Reggie's SUV crossed the center line and hit the car Jacqui was in—head-on. Two girls in Jacqui's car were killed instantly, and Jacqui's legs were pinned under the dashboard. She was helpless as flames engulfed her face and body. Sixty percent of her body was covered with third-degree burns.
Reggie Stephey was fined $20,000 and sentenced to seven years in prison for two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

After the accident Jacqueline has needed over 40 operations.

Not everyone who gets hit with a car dies. This picture was taken 4 years after the accident and the doctors are still working on Jacqueline, whose body was covered with 60% severe burnings.

The choreography of the Thousand-hand Guanyin dance is striking in that every movement must be flawlessly synchronized, demanding precise agility and perfect harmony. The dance is derived from and modeled on Buddhist art engraved on the walls of Mogao Caves in Gansu province's Dunhuang county. The performance tells the story of an ancient princess who sacrifices her arms to help others attain enlightenment.

Back from New York to Los Angeles, Angelina Jolie has begun filming on the set of new drama The Changeling directed by 77-year-old screen legend Clint Eastwood. Wearing a cloche hat and fur coat, The Mr and Mrs Smith actress looks stunning!
Jolie is portraying a woman whose son is kidnapped in Los Angeles in the 1920s. Though the LAPD returns a boy (by Devon Gearhar) to her, it doesn't take long for her to suspect the boy who comes back is not hers. After objecting to the LAPD's claim, she is sent to an insane asylum. She later discovers her real son has been murdered and exposes a city-wide corruption scandal. The film has a scheduled release date of November 7th, 2008.
Garlic is good for the cardiovascular system, thanks to the abundant existence of a compound called allicin, according to a new study in the United States.
The study, conducted by scientists at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, found garlic is rich in allicin, an organic polysulphides. When allicin is broken down into sulphur compounds, these react with red blood cells and produce hydrogen sulphide which relaxes the blood vessels, keeps blood flowing easily and prevents blood clots and oxidative damage.
When hydrogen sulphide is at low concentration level, the study said, it helps cells communicate with each other. Within a blood vessel, hydrogen sulphite stimulates cells on its lining to relax, causing the vessel to dilate. In this condition, blood pressure comes down enabling blood to carry more oxygen to essential organs and reduces pressure on the heart.
Hypertension -- high blood pressure -- is known to be a major risk factor for heart disease. The study, researchers held, may lead to a standardized garlic diet that may have healing results for cardiovascular diseases and even cancer.
So, though the smell is a little odd, garlic in the diet is good for your health!

A total of 18 airline workers, including seven employees at Delta Air Lines and one at American Airlines, have been charged with helping drug traffickers smuggle heroin and cocaine through John F. Kennedy International Airport by federal prosecutors.
Prosecutors say airport workers in the Dominican Republic concealed the drugs in luggage bound for New York. A second group of conspirators at JFK then retrieved the packages and diverted them to a safe area before the bags were inspected.

We hope Ellen DeGeneres and her hairdresser could get back the pooch taken away the pet rescue agency Mutts and Moms.
Ellen DeGeneres is hoping the power of television and celebrity will give a little dog some special treatment. During today's show, DeGeneres breaks down and sobs as she tells the audience about her effort to find a good home for a dog she adopted.
Last month, Ellen and her partner, Portia de Rossi, adopted a Brussels Griffon mix called Iggy. But Iggy didn't get along with the cats, so Ellen gave him to her hairdresser. It turns out, she violated the rescue/adoption agreement with Mutts and Moms, which promptly took Iggy away from the hairdresser. On today's show, Ellen pleads with the agency to return the dog to the hairdresser whose two daughters had become attached to Iggy.
