The waistline of 70-year-old North Carolina grandmother Cathie Jung
measures only 15in, and has been recognized as the world's smallest living person's waistline by the Guinness Book Of Records.
Cathie’s astonishing 39-15-39 figure is the result of spending the last 25 years laced into tight corsets [under help from her husband Bob, an orthopaedic surgeon] , which only come off when she showers.

What program is this? The hosts are as rude as fuck. I am disgusted by their small-mindedness and lack of manners, especially that male. He thinks he's cool or something. Only he's, kind of, not.
yeah i agree with anonymous- what a pair of cunts! they wouldn't even let her finish talking at the end- and i really wanted to hear what she had to say.
I wonder how much support she has when she doesn't have the corset on. Her spine would have adjusted to relying on the corset for support..
I'd also like to see XRays of skeletal and organ development through all of this.
And yes, the hosts are very rude. Regardless of how bizarre this is, she is a person worthy of respect.
Stupid english hosts
A little rude yes, but she talked very slow. And she looks ridiculous.
I understand she was interested in Victorian clothing but I am really curious why go to this extreme? She could have stopped at a normal size. She doesn't really look that great, she probably has no tone in her abdomen and everything sticks out from the waist down. She can't even stand up straight. I don't believe she can do "everything" like she said, maybe everything she wants to do but she can't be very active like this. I guess she is used to it but it's hard to imagine that it feels good and it doesn't look healthy. I also would like to see x-rays and what she (muscle tone) looks like without the corset.
Denise van Outen and Richard Bacon are these hosts...they are generally hated in Britain too. And they don't host this programme anymore...you can probably see why! lol

They were a little rude, yes, but the reason she didnt get to finish is because she speaks to flippin slow (probably due to the corset haha) and also because they looked like they were being told to wrap things up. They only get a certain amount of time with each guest, you know.
Anyway, she's just weird and freaky.

I wonder why you'd invite someone to a show, only to ridicule them publicly. Surely there are health risks for someone with a 15 inch waist, but the questions posed could've been more tasteful.

Have non of you thought that at the end she was trying to tell people how to wear a corset and get a smaller waist and thats why it was cut so suddenly making the hosts appear rude at the end (they were rude throughout tho).
i have met her. she eats a few bites at time. she does not fish. her husband removed ribs and broke others to get shape and shaved then down. her shape is too formed to only wear a corset. she had lots of surgury and she has to wear corset to support her top half. he is a freak she is a ho to go through it although she does not have to do house work....
