Incidentally, this jackass stole this woman's pics to do this.
Except for the hair, I'd say the PhotoShop guru did a phenomenal job.
The AFTER hair looked scary and silly.
Forgot the feet...
Seriously?! The end result was distorted and horrible! Might as well have used Paint.
It looked like they mostly used the liquify tool, the magic wand selection tool, the rubber stamp tool, and the brush tool. They also used a gaussian blur filter as well as a minor levels adjustment.
Most of this is the liquify tool and it can get some pretty amazing results in the right hands. You can also create amazing tabloid shots just as easily as you can retouch someone to absolute perfection.
However, the one gripe I have about the person who did this is that their knowledge of anatomy and female anatomy is a touch off. I mean they made her thinner, but he didn't quite adjust the legs (the bottom parts are rather stick-ish while the upper parts are much fuller) and arms correctly (elbow joint is off), so they look a touch odd in places.
Is it just me, or is there a curve or dent in her butt-crack?

Aside from the obvious debate on whether or not she was hotter before or after, I will say that I am amazed by the skill it took to do such a transformation so cleanly. Granted, had he taken more time on it, he could have corrected the feet, and back of her right knee, but aside from personal tastes...the artwork necessary to pull off adding hair and reshaping her form is commendable.

People have been bred by generations to be able to point out something that's not right with another person. I don't mean ugly, but if you've ever seen someone whose eyes are not focused, you know immediately that there is something wrong, so for someone to be able to mutilate a picture like that and still some of us not cringe away in horror takes a lot of skill.
BTW, I prefer the original image...

well uhm, tht was odd. thts why all these girls at my high school use this to try to hide how they really look in their myspace pictures, its disgusting really. and btw, evn though im not all into the "fat girls are beautiful" thing, i still think that this looked better before he made her into a sterotyped stickfigure. nottt cute man, not cute

I like the fact, that this video shows how easy is to make a scam telling thousands of woman, that they can get thinner buying this or that...
We still believe that women from magazines are as perfect as they look on the paper... nothing more incorrect. Photoshop and similar programs are great!

That was cool.... so thats how they make average people look hot in the mag's
